2009 Cooper River Champions
Mike Sims and Greg DiPalma representing the Tidewater Bassers win first place two years in a row (2008 & 2009). These guys have placed in the money for the past five years. The team of Sims & DiPalma are a force that must be reckoned with on Cooper River. In an interview after the tournament they were asked what is the secret to their success over the years. They stated that they invented and created their own style of bass fishing. Sims and DiPalma call it "Power Finesse Bass Fishing" Covering a lot of  water combined with rapid fire accurate casting. Not an easy technique to master. Practice, practice, practice is the key. The Top Rod Bassmasters congratulates both of you on your repeat victory as the Cooper River Champions.
