Davis Mill was the site for this contest. 12 men showed to do battle on a dark cloudy RAINY day. We had most of the day with dark skies and light showers early and torrential downpours by days end. 36 fish would be brought to the board with Mike Delmontico on a roll for the 2nd. tournament in a row to take 1st. place honors with 4 fish weighing in at 9 lbs. 1oz. and for the 2nd. tournament in a row with lunker at 4 lbs.1oz. Mike is looking for the the hat trick at assunpink Art Rosario would take 2nd. place with 5 fish for 7 lbs. 15oz. Timmy Fitz 3rd. with 5 fish for 7 lbs. 6oz.
New guy Al Kirk takes 4th. with 4 fish for 6 lbs.14oz. Rick Seehousz takes 5th. with 2 fish for 4 lbs.1oz. Mike Wiley 6th. with 3 fish for 3 lbs.15oz. Bobby Tiller 7th with 4 fish for 3 lbs. 14oz. 15 Anglers showed for this contest with visions of big fat spawners on their minds. The day was overcast most of the morning then some sun here and there which was good for the bed fisherman. 46 fish would be weighed in on the day with Mike Delmontico taking 1st. place with 4 fish weighing in at 11 lbs.6oz. And lunker of the day with a 4 lb.13oz beast. Mike Sentore would wined up in 2nd. place with a 5 fish limit at 9 lbs.1oz. Filling out the the top 3 on the day would be our fearless leader Mike Wiley with 4 fish weighing in at 8 lbs.12oz. Art Rosario had 4 fish at 7 lbs. 15oz. Tim Fitz would weigh 5 fish for 7 lbs. 13oz. Steve Colella with 4 fish for 7 lbs.12oz. Joe Reed with 3 fish for 5 lbs. 5oz. Joe Reise with 2 fish for 5 lbs.1oz. Sean Mckee with 3 fish at 3 lbs.15oz. and Rick Seehousz to wind out the top 10 with 3 fish for 3 lbs. 13 oz.Props go out to Al Kirk with 3 fish, Conner Cahill with1 fish, Rob Ackerman with 2 fish and honorable mentions go out to Chris Cheesman and Mike Monte.
On Saturday 4/16/11 Toprod fished its first paper tournament of the year.
12 members showed up with the weather looking to be real bad .Started off with
windy conditions only to get stronger throughout the day with east winds gusting
to 30-35 mph. A big congrats goes out to Rob Ackerman to take this contest
with a nice bag of 4 fish going 12 lbs. 9 oz. and Lunker of the day for 5lbs.3 oz.
Robs Kangaroo pattern paid off for him on a tuff day.
Second place honors goes to Timmy Fitz with a 5 fish limit for 8lbs. 6 oz.
Third place goes to Art Rosario with 2 fish for 2lbs. 13 oz. Special mention
goes to Steve Collela, Rick Seehousz, and Mike Delmonico for weighing in a
fish on this tough day.
Lots of changes in the top 10 Steve Colella moved into 1st place with his
consistent fish catching Tim Fitz in 2nd with a good showing of 5 fish at Parvin
Rick Seehousz 3rd. Art Rosario moved into 4th. Rob Ackerman came way up
with his big win at Parvin to move him into 5th . Mike Willey 6th. Mike Monte 7th.
Mike Delmontico 8th. Al Kirk 9th, Mike Sentore rounding out the top 10.
First off, I'd like to welcome back old and new members to our 2011 Tournament season. We had 19 members show for our 1st contest of the year and were met with high winds and bluebird skies, 20 fish would be brought to the scales.
Mike Sentore leading the way with a high hook of 4 fish at 5 lbs. 4oz. to take 1st place.
Spencer Hatton and Art Rosario tied for 2nd place with 4 lbs 9oz with Spencer Catching 1 beautiful Fish for lunker of the day and lead the pack with (lunker of the year). Art rounds out the top 3 of the day with 3 fish.

Conner Cahill, Joe Reiss, and Sean Mckee also caught fish for 11th, 12th & 13th respectfully.
Bobby Tiller, Mike Delmonico, Chris Cheesman, Mike Monte, John Heck & Kenny Wise all struggled to no avail.
It was a tough day for all who participated. The stumps and high winds took their toll on batteries, transducers and trolling motors. All in all it was good to kick off the new season and get out and try and catch some fish with a great bunch of guys.
R.B.C. held their annual open buddy tournament on Union Lake on Saturday ,October 30th With 18 boats on a cold, windy day with gin clear 52 degree water. Toprod had 3 teams representing the club. Mike Sentore and Spencer Hatton would have the only 5 fish limit brought to the scales to take the win with 9.27 lbs. And in 2nd place were Dave Butenewicz Sr. and Dave Butenewicz Jr. to come to the Party with 3 fish weighing in at 8.16 lbs. with a 3.11 lb. kicker to take lunker pool. Coming in at 7thplace was Ken Wise and Coner Cahill with 1 fish at 1.24 lbs. to round out the top 10. Congrats guys on a tough day. 24 fish were brought in with Toprod leading the pack. (We seem to be on a roll) Great things are happening so keep up the good work!
On Sunday October 24th 2010 Toprodders Art Rosario and Rob Ackerman fished the 6th annual Menantico open tournament/ sausage fest. It turned out to be a tough day as 18 teams showed to fish this aquarium clear lake with a total of 9 bass being weighed in and 5 pickerel. Art and Rob were fortunate enough to weigh in 2 fish at 3.60 lbs. to take the 1st. place money with 3.60 lbs. while representing Top Rod. Chasbass and Scott from Delaware River Fisherman’s Assn. took second honors with 2 fish weighing in at 2.90 lbs. while Jimbo and Kyle from South Jersey Hook This took 3rd. place and lunker with 1 fish weighing in at 2.50 lbs. a special shout out goes to Netter and Rpohlig for catching lunker Pickerel at 2.10 lbs. All in all it was a tough day with bluebird sky with lot of laughs and LOTS of casting practice, the lake was so clear you could see bottom in 10 foot of water. We would like to thank John Valdez or as some of you know him as (NJV) from BASSNJ website and Fran or (F-con) for hosting a well-run event and also to Herb from Precision Tackle for the great gear he had for sale and the awesome raffle he had with lots of great baits and also would like to thank the chef for the KILLER sausage, peppers and onions.
On Saturday October 23rd. 2010 13 anglers journeyed to Salem Canal to do battle against the Largemouth Bass. With a good wind and heavily stained (muddy) water, Mike Sentore and Connor Cahill would prove to be #1 on a tough day with 2 fish for 3.4 lbs. in
this Toprod only Buddy Bowl.
Bob Tiller and Joe Reiss were right on their tails with 2 fish for 2.14 lbs. to take 2nd place while Tim Fitzgerald and Kenny Wise took the 3rd spot for 2.10 lbs. Lunker honors and a 4th. Place showing was Steve Colella with 1 monster of a fish at 2.9 lbs. 5th place would go to Sean Mckee and Rob Ackerman with 2 fish at 2.4 lbs. On another note, Mike Delmontico and Paul Mason along with Mike Wiley and Rick Seehousz would find it to be super tough and were not able to find the fish.
Also I would like to take this opportunity to thank Toprod Bassmasters for a great season of fishing and camaraderie and thanks for having us (Philly Guys). It’s good to be a Part of this club you all have so
much to teach.
Saturday October 9th 2010 5 anglers set out on Davis Mill Pond to fish the annual Classic Tournament. The fishing would prove to be tough. Tim Fitzgerald would show he would do whatever it takes to get 3 fish in the boat by pulling his plug and literally sinking his boat to get under the bridge and get the fish he needed to take home for the second year in a row Classic Honors with 3 fish for 6lbs. 1oz. Spencer Hatton was on the fish also with 4 fish for 4lbs. 4oz. to take 2nd place and Mike Wiley with 2 fish for 3lbs. 1oz. to wined out the top 3 congrats to Timmy for a job well done.
On Sunday October 17th 2010 South Jersey Bass Club Association held it’s annual Bass Bowl on the Delaware River, 9 clubs came to do battle on the big 'D' with 25 teams participating. Top Rodders Spencer Hatton, Mike Monte, Mike Sentore, Art Rosario, Tim Fitzgerald, and Mike Delmontico fought the wind and bright blue Sky’s to pull out 15 keepers Largemouth for 23.06 lbs. to take the win for the second year in a row. Spencer Hatton and Mike Monte were good with 4 solid keepers for 6.12lbs. While Tim Fitzgerald and Mike Delmontico had 3 fish for 4.99 lbs. Mike Sentore and Art Rosario had 8 fish on the day for 11.95 lbs. to final out the bag.
TopRods margin of victory was almost double of what the second place finishers were ( South Jersey Hawg Hunters) total weight of 11.96 lbs. with 8 fish. Third place went to the (Delaware River Fisherman's Association) with 10.03 lbs. and 5 fish to round out the top 3 for the day.
TopRod Bassmasters would like to thank the South Jersey Bass Club Association for having a well-run tournament (as usual) and all involved. Goooooo Toprod !!!!!
