Top Rod Bassmasters is a bass fishing club that mostly fishes lakes and rivers in Southern New Jersey.
The club was formed in 1993 by the 2003 Bassmaster Classic & 2006 Bassmaster Angler of the Year, Mike Iaconelli & friends.
Top Rod competes in more than 15 Saturday club buddy & invitational tournaments that culminate in a Classic Championship
Club Meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of specified months at 7 pm at the Oaklyn American Legion hall.
An awards banquet is held each year in February.
Besides being very competitive throughout the season, Top Rod Bassmasters is a club with lots of comraderie and sharing of information in order for all members to improve their technique.
Club members are encouraged to fish other tournament circuits including the BFL, Bassmasters and ABA circuits.
Top Rod hosts a highly anticipated buddy tournament at Cooper River Park in Camden, NJ every year as well as other Open Buddy tournaments.
